Born Chelsea Rose Bond to the woods of Sonoma County’s wine country, Chelsea unwrapped a life of creativity and ideas. Gifted as a creator in fine arts, dance choreography, fashion design, jewelry design, and graphic design – she opened many doors to entrepreneurship.
She and her sister moved to San Francisco, where Chelsea earned her degree in Fashion Design at F.I.D.M. (The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising). This is when Bond Sisters evolved, the umbrella of the sisters’ work – both together and independently. The “C.Bond” brand began in Chelsea’s F.I.D.M. eco-fashion portfolio. Using wire like thread and being encouraged by friends, she then developed her jewelry practice through gift-giving. C.Bond Designs stands for a brand that organically shares a different story through each one-of-a-kind piece. Mostly incorporating recycled or antique parts, the designs reflect a recognizable style. Like her paintings, graphics, and collage, they combine a quality of rhythmic energy and rustic invention, a balance of the old and the new.
